Closet Cases Celebrates 20 Years of Laughter, Liberation, and LGBTQIA+ Storytelling in The Berkshires
This Pride Month, the groundbreaking LGBTQIA+ comedy and storytelling show Closet Cases celebrates its 20th anniversary with a special one-night-only performance in the heart of the Berkshires.
Thursday, June 12 at 7PM
The Closet Cases line-up includes:
Vicki Ferentinos, winner of Rocco’s Dinner Party on Bravo, and seen on Comedy Central
David Hodorowski, featured on MTV, VH1, and CBS
Brandy Rowell, from NYC’s Suddenly Stand-Up at The Duplex
Jay Santangelo, local LGBTQIA+ leader and founder of Wander
Hosted by Shawn Hollenbach, from The Mortified Guide (Sundance Film Festival, now on Amazon Prime)
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
Seating is limited, and laughter is guaranteed.
Past performers of Closet Cases have included comedy and TV icons such as Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live), Jeffrey Self (Search Party), Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere), Judy Gold, Keith Price, Elliot Glazer and Willam Belli (RuPaul’s Drag Race). The show’s podcast spin-off was even named one of the “Best Podcasts for LGBTQIA+ Millennials” by iHeart Radio.
“Each time we mount Closet Cases, we build a space for queer folks to laugh, cry, and celebrate their journeys together,” said show creator and host Shawn Hollenbach.
