Somatic Breathwork* is an active meditation that uses a three-part breath technique to support the deep healing of the mind, body and Spirit. The three-part breath technique occupies the thinking-mind so the rest of the body can self-heal without the cognitive intervention of narrative and thought.
Breathwork is a powerful practice that can help the breather: rewrite outdated stories and subconscious beliefs, break through feelings stuckness, provide a path to feeling more “in” your body, reconnection to inner/ancestral wisdom, deeper connection to aliveness, strengthen resilience and help one access an expanded state of consciousness.
* Contraindications: A breathwork practice is not currently recommended for: people in pregnancy (unless you have discussed it with a medical doctor or already have a regular practice), epilepsy, retinal detachment, glaucoma, high blood pressure not controlled by medication, cardiovascular disease, family history of aneurysm, strokes and neurological conditions, and severe osteoporosis. If you have any questions about Breathwork, or if it is right for you please do not hesitate to reach out to Ciana Marie.
