Laboratory of Belonging

Have you ever felt invisible?
Or wished you could disappear?

This is a paradox many of us navigate every day. Our need to be seen conflicts with our need for safety; our longing for connection bumps up against the fear of exposure. But what would it be like to be truly seen, heard, and celebrated exactly as you wish to be?

For over 25 years, multidisciplinary artist and In/Visibility Lab founder Gabrielle Senza has investigated the phenomenon of invisibility as a lived experience. Assisted by Lab Technician Dan Ruderman, Gabrielle facilitates a container for collective witnessing and deep transformation. Blending live performance, original music, and guided audience interaction, this gathering examines the complex forces that make us visible or invisible to one another, and how those forces define the boundaries of our belonging.
