Tuesdays beginning April 7 | 11:30–12:45
In times of chaos and upheaval — and really, anytime — it is a radical act of sanity to take up residence in the present moment.
Taking a pause… slowing down… allowing the nervous system a break from constant input… is a powerful form of self-care.
The Sacred Pause is a weekly community space to gently practice presence together.
Each gathering will include:
• simple mindfulness practices
• a brief, accessible reflection on topics like
– how mindfulness works
– common misunderstandings
– why it can be hard to stay present
• space for quiet connection
No experience is needed.
Come a little early to grab a drink or some food.
Stay for the full time or just drop in for what you can.
Cate Wolff is a psychotherapist in Pittsfield, a trauma-sensitive yoga teacher, and a long-time meditation practitioner who first learned mindfulness from Jon Kabat-Zinn.
Free and open to all.
Goodwill donations welcome for Wander.
